Badgework is an important aspect of Scouts.
Amongst all the fun of every section meeting, we always squeeze in some sort of activity that incorporates a skill or task that enables them to work towards badges.
Some badges can even be done from home and with evidence sheets returned to a Leader - your Scout will be able to be awarded the badge.
Activity Badges:
Many of the badges available are activity badges, which allow Scouts to show their progress in existing pursuits, but also to try all kinds of new things and form new interests.
Some activity badges are covered during Section activities but you can achieve others in your own time.

We have created a series of badge information sheets for the most popular badges to do at home at the bottom of this page.
Challenge Badges:
Gaining a challenge badge involves accomplishing a number of more ambitious tasks within the pack.
There are several challenge badges across a number of themes, from the physical and outdoorsy to challenges dealing with the local community or issues connected with the Scouting world.
